Ethical dilemma of a Maverick. Maverick Leaders prefer to lead a life free from ethical dilemmas whilst recognising that this is an almost impossible task! By concentrating on working for the greater good, they are very aware of the ethical dilemmas that might arise and awaken cognitive dissonance.
One of the best ways to ensure that cognitive dissonance – the tension between doing (or thinking) something against your beliefs, is kept to a minimum, is to know who you are and what you believe in.
